Building Schedule Priorities

  1. All KHS school or Kane School District activities, such as team practices, parent-teacher conferences, assemblies, Opening Institute, etc. will get top priority in the KHS building. The gymnasium and auditorium will not be available for use during the basketball, volleyball and theater seasons.
  2. The KHS Athletic Director and Secretary will coordinate this schedule to keep the calendar updated.
  3. Community availability will be evaluated and determined upon request.

Responsibilities when using Kanab High School

  • Remember, building use is a privilege.  It is up to the coach/applicant using the building to maintain cleanliness and ensure the proper safety of participants.  Lights should be turned off, doors should be locked, and areas should be cleaned, including sweeping the floor and light cleaning the bathrooms (picking up the paper towels/toilet paper off the floor).
  • All building use has to be approved by the school principal.
