Principal Stewart Update – March 28 2020
Good morning KHS parents and students.
I hope that you and your students are settling into online instruction. If you need assistance please contact your teachers via email or log in during their online office hours. Hours are posted by individual teachers and on the KHS website.
Technology resources allow us to teach and communicate while adhering to the safety and prevention recommendations during this Covid-19 pandemic.
Yesterday, the Governor issued the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” Directive for the state.
I encourage you and your students to review the attached plan as we work together to prevent the spread of this extremely contagious illness. The directive will be in place until April 13th with school closures continuing until May 1st. We will provide updates as they occur.
With this directive, student workgroups and classes will no longer be able to meet in the school. Classes will continue to be taught online through Canvas and Google Classroom. You and your student will continue to be able to communicate with teachers by email and audio/video chat. Each teacher is providing instruction for each class and your student should be completing coursework each school day.
We appreciate your support and assistance as we continue to provide instruction to our students.
Stay Home and Stay Safe
Principal Trevor Stewart
