Registration-Back to School-Immunizations

Hello Kanab High School Parents and Students,

Our Cowboy family will soon be back together for another great school year.  As we prepare for the new school year, we wanted to share some key dates and information.

Registration (Both Online and Walk-in registrations are required)

Online registration opens on August 1st via Aspire/SIS: Registration Link. All KHS parents must re-register and verify information to ensure accuracy, including new addresses and emergency contacts. Our district uses the parent notification program, Blackboard, which requires a primary cell phone number for text notifications and emergencies.

As student information is updated, please make sure to put a cell phone as the primary phone number if possible.  Text notifications for notification and emergency purposes can be used with this new system, but an identified cell phone number will need to be listed as the primary phone number.

Walk-in Registration In addition to online registration, you must come to the school to get lockers, pay fees pick-up class schedules.

Juniors – August 5th, 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Sophomores – August 6th, 8:00 am to Noon
Freshmen – August 6th, 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Evening registration (all grades) August 6th, 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm
The first day of School is August 14th

Immunizations All students must have up-to-date immunizations before attending school. Required immunizations include the varicella (chickenpox), Tdap booster, and meningococcal vaccines. If your child is exempt from immunizations, a record of exemption must be provided. Immunizations can be obtained at local health departments, clinics, and pharmacies. The Southwest Health Department, located at 445 N. Main, provides immunizations by appointment on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. For appointments and more information, contact the health department at 435-644-2537 ext 2. Shana Chavez is available to assist with any questions or concerns.  Please do not put off immunizations until the last minute, as sometimes vaccines can be unavailable.

Lunch Applications Free lunch is no longer available for all students and requires an application and approval process. Please complete the online lunch application annually through the Aspire/SIS portal.

Fee Waivers There is a new process for fee waivers. Those who qualify must meet with the administration and provide proof of income (W-2/Tax forms) for verification. Forms will be available at registration.
